SAT were called in to have a look at a leak inside a property in Edinburgh. The client informed the technician that there was cascading water coming over the top gutter on the front elevation. Once the technician was on location, the gutter and downpipe were found to be significantly blocked. The gutter was cleared, and the downpipe rodded. A few forceful pushes and the blockage was freed. A wire mesh and plastic cover was rammed inside the downpipe. Free flow of water was achieved.
In addition to this, a building inspection was conducted along the height of the front elevation around the affected downpipe. Multiple stonework concerns were identified. Including loose stonework removed.
